Atelier de l’Argoat uses the 3D-Secure system to protect you against fraudulent card transactions.

To complete your purchase, you must enter an authentication code when paying by debit or credit card on our website.

This authentication takes place on a secure partner website hosted by your bank. Therefore, even if your card details were stolen or intercepted in any way, they could not be used without this authentication code.

What is my 3D-Secure code? Where can I find it?

The 3D-Secure code is not your regular card PIN (the code you enter for in-store purchases or ATM cash withdrawals). You have a dedicated verification method reserved specifically for online transactions, provided directly by your bank. Depending on your bank's policy and card type, this code or temporary passcode may be sent via SMS, generated in your banking app, or requested during your first online card payment. Some banks may also require secondary verification such as your date of birth or biometric authentication.

How does this affect the payment process?

You enter your card details as usual: card number, expiration date, and CVV code (the last 3 digits on the back of your card). You will then be redirected to a secure website (with a URL typically starting with https://[yourbank][.wlp-acs.com/](https://.wlp-acs.com/)), where you will be prompted to enter your 3D-Secure code or authorize the payment. This automatic redirection links our payment gateway directly to your bank's secure server.
